Reading Round-Up

This is the “make-at-home” edition of the Reading Round-Up. There are so many things that it never occurred to me I could make at home in my own kitchen with just a few simple ingredients. Or, I knew I could make them, but why would I bother when we have brands like Heinz, Hidden Valley and Silk making these products for us? Enter the real-foodie me. Now I pore over condiment and nut milk recipes, saving them to my Real Food Essentials board on Pinterest for future kitchen fun. I’ve made a few – such as homemade mayo and chicken stock – but there are many more on my to-do list. Hope you enjoy the reads (and recipes)!

Did you know you could make these at home?

Nut milks
Chicken Broth (bone broth)
Taco Seasoning
Nut butters
Hot Sauce
Tangy Mayonnaise

These pages had an abundance of recipes for a variety of food products you probably buy at the store. Why not give a few a try at home?
