This is the “make-at-home” edition of the Reading Round-Up. There are so many things that it never occurred to me I could make at home in my own kitchen with just a few simple ingredients. Or, I knew I could make them, but why would I bother when we have brands like Heinz, Hidden Valley and Silk making these products for us? Enter the real-foodie me. Now I pore over condiment and nut milk recipes, saving them to my Real Food Essentials board on Pinterest for future kitchen fun. I’ve made a few – such as homemade mayo and chicken stock – but there are many more on my to-do list. Hope you enjoy the reads (and recipes)!
