Those nice folks at Berkshire Organics get two thumbs up from me.
I emailed them to let them know they accidentally omitted two items from my first produce basket. They responded quickly with an apology and immediately offered to have the veggies on hand for me to pick up at my convenience. I stopped by their market after work and mentioned to the woman at the counter that my basket was missing two items, and I was there to pick them up. The lovely woman behind the counter immediately said, “It was me. That was my fault”, apologized, and then promptly brought out my bag of broccoli and celery. At home, I found a treat – a chocolate granola bar by Bola (who also makes my favorite granola) with a thoughtful, handwritten note attached apologizing for the mistake on my first order and thanking me for my business.
